Slow week

Sadly I’ve had a throat infection this week keeping me from doing my job. I’ve been catching up on paperwork and working on my deck, the foundation had rotted out. With my sons birthday coming up I did not want anyone falling through my deck. Nothing says bad birthday like grandma taking a nose dive through a broken 2×6.

The course of the week did let me think about my own foundation. I’ve been given a great education from amazing faculty, like Dr. Amy Clements-Cortes and Dr Lucanne MaGill who is now in India. It’s great to think about and consider your foundations once in a while, and compare them to your current trajectory. Although the Music Therapy program will be coming to a conclusion in the next few years, there is still a growing demand for our services in the community.

I am very thankful for everything I’ve been able to do so far, and for everything I’ve been taught to me that has brought me this far.
